SunCoat Low-E 2 and SunCoatMax Low-E 3 glass


SunCoat® Low-E2 Glass

This microscopically thin coating is applied to one side of the glass to reflect heat from its source in the summer, suncoat stuffkeep heat inside in the winter and reduce harmful UV rays. SunCoat Low-E 2 glass comes standard on all Milgard dual-pane windows and patio doors

SunCoatMAX Low-E glass provides the best clarity and highest performance of all solar gain Low-E glass products.

Benefits to You:

Milgard’s SunCoatMAX even increases comfort in cooler temperatures. This chart show the glass surface temperatures at two different outside temperatures. Milgard ‘s SunCoatMAX maintains a higher interior surface glass temperature, even in the coldest temperatures. Why is this important? The Efficient Windows Collaborative suggests that when glass surface temperatures fall below 52 degrees F, there is a risk of thermal discomfort.
